The second floor houses the library's circulating language and literature book collection (designated "Stacks," with call numbers beginning with the letter P). Here you will also find half of the periodicals collection (call numbers A-P), the current periodicals reading lounge, and U.S. government publications, including map and pamphlet files.
The library's technical services unit is located on the second floor. Staff in this area order and process new books, serials, and other materials. The Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics also has a home on the second floor.
