The IPFW library offers specialized assistance to users of health science, science, and technology information. The Science and Technology Information Center is designed as a research consulting area to help you choose sci-tech electronic databases, develop a search strategy, or conduct online searches. This library-within-a-library is a unique approach to delivering authoritative scientific information.
Most of the library's science and technology reference books with call numbers beginning Q-Z are shelved here. They are identified in IUCAT as Fort Wayne - Science Reference Collection. Reference materials cannot normally be checked out.
Out of the public view on the fourth floor are the library's computer servers and network technicians. These facilities and staff support the sophisticated network technologies that connect you to IPFW's Helmke Library and to the world.
