Commercial toolsCommercial plagiarism-detecting tools run the gamut from offering a simple software package to customized online services. The following are some of the more well-know plagiarism-detecting services and products.
Essay Verification Engine (EVE2) A software-based program that compares submitted works with Web sites. After comparisions are made, a report is generated identifying any matching URLs to passages in the suspected works.
Glatt Plagiarism Services Offers software packages to help with both the prevention and detection of plagiarism. The detection software does not compare suspected work with online resources or Web sites.
