1-1-3-2An ordinance prescribing a penalty for forfeiture for a violation must, before it takes effect, be published once each week for two (2) consecutive weeks, according to I.C. 5-3-1 et seq.
1-1-4 Chapter 4: Passage of Ordinance on Day of Introduction1-1-4-1Unanimous consent of all Commissioners present is required to pass an Ordinance on the same day or at the same meeting at which it is introduced.
1-1-5 Chapter 5: Recording of Ordinances1-1-5-1Within a reasonable time after an Ordinance is adopted, the County Auditor shall record it in a book kept for that purpose. The record must include the signature of the president of the Board of Commissioners of Allen County, and the attestation of the Auditor.
