1-7-1 Chapter 1: Office of the County AttorneyThere is hereby created the Office of County Attorney for Allen County.
1-7-2 Chapter 2: DutiesThe County Attorney shall advise the County Commissioners and other elected and appointed officers. The County Attorney shall have the authority to appoint Deputy County Attorneys and assign said attorneys to advise the aforementioned officers and shall assume and handle such other responsibilities and governmental functions as are from time to time delegated in writing by the Board of Commissioners of the County.
1-7-3 Chapter 3: Separate ContractsThe County Attorney may enter into a separate contract with the Board of Commissioners to provide legal services to the County. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to preclude such an agreement nor require the County Attorney or his assistants to provide legal services without compensation.
1-7-4 Chapter 4: TermThe Allen County Attorney shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners. The Allen County Attorney's Deputies shall serve at the pleasure of the County Attorney.
