Dr. Anderson taught physics and was dean of science and humanities from 1977 to 1979. He was born in 1922 and died in 1998. He received degrees from Occidental College (A.B., 1950), University of Illinois (M.S., 1956) and University of Maryland (Ph.D., 1964).
