Dr. Harroff taught German from 1969- . He received degrees from Manchester College (A.B., 1964) and Indiana University (M.A.,1966; Ph.D., 1972). He was recipient of the 1986 Outstanding Teacher Award and the 1998 Arts and Sciences Award for the Enhancement of Learning. In addition to teaching German his research interest included the Old Order Amish and Old German Baptist Brethren of Indiana.
