A 1974 graduate, Mr. Hansen played on the golf team from 1970-74 and served as co-captain in his junior and senior years. In 1990 he received the Alumni Citation Award. In the mid-nineties he was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for a book published by NASA on the history of spaceflight.
