Dr. Holt came to IPFW taught biology from 1969 until his retirement in 2002. He received degrees from Dixie Junior College (A.S., 1957), Brigham Young University (B.S., 1961; M.S., 1964) and Purdue University (Ph.D., 1969). He was recipient of the Amoco Foundation Outstanding Teaching Award in 1982.
