Dr. Ramsey came to IPFW in 1979. He received degrees from University of Wisconsin (B.S., 1964) and University of Illinois (A.M., 1969; Ph.D., 1973). He taught and held various positions in the English and linguistics department, including chair. Dr. Ramsey retired as Associate Professor Emeritus of English in 2007.
