Dr. Steeg came to IPFW in 1969. He taught electrical engineering technology. Dr. Steeg was born on August 17, 1922 and died June 23, 1987 in Ramsey, New Jersey. He was one of the first full professors on the IPFW campus. His areas of research were optimal control systems, finite state machines and analog computation. He received degrees from DePauw University (A.B., 1943) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Ph.D., 1952).
