Dr. Frederick taught mathematics and computer science from 1979 until . He received degrees from Indiana University (A.B., 1966) and Purdue University (M.S., 1974; Ph.D., 1980). He was a recipient of the Amoco Foundation Outstanding Teaching Award in 1984.
