IPFW students looking for information for papers and projects now have the option of searching multiple databases in one step. OneSearch, a new product sponsored by Indiana University Libraries, can jump start a student’s research by retrieving more results in less time.
"OneSearch mimics an Internet search engine, like Google, since the results list can be spread over many formats and disciplines. It is better for research, however, because OneSearch results include many scholarly articles and books, items that are just not available for free on the Web," according to Pamela Sandstrom, Head of Reference and Instructional Services at Helmke Library.
