Article 2 - Territorial Jurisdiction Areas 

2-2-1 Chapter 1: Jurisdictional Area New Haven

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana, that pursuant to IC 1971 18-7-5-34, the territorial jurisdiction of the City of New Haven Plan Commission over the unincorporated contiguous area, commonly known as the "New Haven Zoning Jurisdiction" to said town of New Haven is hereby terminated, except for the contiguous unincorporated area described in Exhibit A (on file in the Allen County Auditor's Office) and made a part hereof, and the Board of Commissioners of Allen County by and through the Allen County Plan Commission hereby assumes exclusive territorial jurisdiction over said unincorporated area in all phases of planning, zoning and subdivision control and enforcement thereof.

This Ordinance shall be in force and effect on April 29, 1974.

2-2-2 Chapter 2: Grant Of Jurisdiction - Fort Wayne: Township 31 North, Range 13 East

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana, that the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is hereby authorized to exercise planning, zoning jurisdiction and subdivision control in an area of approximately 347 acres located in parts of Sections 5, 7, 8 and 17 of Township 31 North, Range 13 east, and described on the attached legal description marked Exhibit "A" (on file in the Allen County Auditor's Office).

PASSED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana, this  19th day of December 1979, and in full force and effect from this date.

2-2-3 Chapter 3: Grant Of Jurisdiction - Fort Wayne: Township 31 North, Range 12 East

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana, that the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is hereby authorized to exercise planning, zoning jurisdiction and subdivision control in an area of approximately 15 acres located in Section 36, Township 30 North, Range 12 east, and described on the attached legal description marked Exhibit "A" (on file in the Allen County Auditor's Office).

PASSED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana, this  9th day of October 1980, and in full force and effect from this date.

2-2-4 Chapter 4: Grant Of Jurisdiction - Fort Wayne: Township 30 North, Range 13 East

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana, that the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is hereby authorized to exercise planning, zoning jurisdiction and subdivision control in an area of approximately 6.85 acres located in Section 31, Township 30 North, Range 13 East, and described on the attached legal description marked Exhibit "A" (on file in the Allen County Auditor's Office).

PASSED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana, this 19th day of February 1981, and in full force and effect from this date.

2-2-5 Chapter 5: Grant Of Jurisdiction - Fort Wayne: Township 30 North, Range 12 East

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana, that the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is hereby authorized to exercise planning, zoning jurisdiction and subdivision control in an area located in the NE quarter of the SW quarter of Section 36, Township 30 North, Range 12 East, excepting the north four-hundred (400) feet thereof the north one-thousand four-hundred-forty-eight (1,148) feet of the SE quarter of the SW quarter of said Section 36; the E one-half of the NW quarter of the SW quarter of said Section 36, excepting the easterly four-hundred (400) feet of the north four-hundred (400) feet thereof, all in Allen County, Indiana.
