Article 4 - Long Range Transportation Plan 

2-4-1 Chapter 1: Designation

This Ordinance shall be known as The Long-Range Transportation Study update for Fort Wayne-New Haven-Allen County, and shall commonly be referred to as the Year 2005 Transportation Plan.

2-4-2 Chapter 2: Guide For Future Development

At the adoption of the Year 2005 Transportation Plan and this Ordinance, the Board of Commissioners and other governing bodies or official agencies under the jurisdiction of the Board of Commissioners, shall be guided by and give consideration to the general policy and pattern of development set out in the Year 2005 Transportation Plan in the authorization, construction, or abandonment of public highways and public structures, and the approval of land subdivisions, in the determination of sites for parks and recreational facilities, shopping centers and industrial districts and the acquisition of land therefore and in all other matters relevant to the Year 2005 Transportation Plan.

2-4-3 Chapter 3: Plan Advisory

It is expressly noted by the Board of Commissioners of Allen County, Indiana, that this Year 2005 Transportation Plan is advisory only, but emphasizes that consideration should be given to the Plan's general policy and pattern of development by the agencies of Allen County government.

2-4-4 Chapter 4: Plan Comments

The Board of Commissioners welcomes all comments and concerns with respect to the Year 2005 Transportation Plan. The Board of Commissioners will keep a record of all such comments and criticisms, if any, which comments and criticisms should also be taken into account in all future planning by the agencies of Allen County government.

2-4-5 Chapter 5: Files

A copy of the Transportation Plan and written comments and criticisms, shall be kept on file in the Office of the Board of Commissioners of Allen County, Indiana, and shall be subject to public examination during the regular office hours of the Commissioners.

2-4-6 Chapter 6: Effective Date

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage according to law.
