To search older articles, choose the "Archives" link from the navigation bar to access the free newspaper archive service. The Journal Gazette is indexed from 1992 to present, and the News-Sentinel is indexed from 1990 to present; current coverage is delayed. Search for keywords in the lead, headline, byline, or text of articles. Searching is free, but a personal account is required to view full-text articles through this service. Prices vary by source newspaper and are posted. In the free format, results display only the first few lines of text and the date and page number of the paper. Locate articles in the microfilm collection of Journal Gazette (Microfilm AN2.F7 JG) or News-Sentinel (Microfilm AN2.F7 NS), shelved in the microfilm cabinets.
