A dynamic reference work published and updated since 1995. Contributors are normally invited by the Editorial Board and all entries and updates are refereed by the Board before they are added. A typical entry ranges from 8,000-9,000 words and includes a bibliography and cross-references. Entries are updated in a timely manner as needed by the author. Current entries become part of archived editions which are accessible. Lists of currently assigned topics and unassigned, but projected topics are also presented. |
