Dissertations and Theses: A&I provides access to information on nearly all of the doctoral dissertations accepted each year in North America dating back to 1861 along with citations to a select group of master's theses. The database also contains abstracts of thousands of dissertations and theses from around the world. Author written abstracts are provided for dissertations completed in 1980 and after and for master's theses from 1988 and after.
Dissertations and Theses @ CIC offers dissertations and theses submitted to any of the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) institutions which includes Indiana University and all the Big Ten universities, plus the University of Chicago. Dissertations and master's theses from these institutions are available in Full-text PDF format, from 1997 to present. Citations and some abstracts are provided for earlier items.
