Communication & Mass Media Complete is a combination of CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association) and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Penn State). EBSCOhost has merged these two databases together along with additional titles to offer cover-to-cover "core" indexing and abstracts for over 300 journals (some dating as far back as 1915). Selective coverage is provided on over 100 additional titles offering combined coverage of over 400 titles with more than 200 available in full text. Cited references are available for selected articles, but this feature is unavailable when searching two or more EBSCO databases simultaneously.
