Produced by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), this digital library provides full-text access to more than 1.7 million IEEE documents published by 39 IEEE-member societies, including journals, transactions, magazines, and letters published from 1988 to present. As of September 2008, IPFW's license also provides full-text access to conference proceedings and standards, along with records describing the content of books published by IEEE.

Update Frequency:

Twice weekly.

Full-text content from 1988 to present, plus historical articles from 100 IEEE journals published 1913-1987.

More than 1.7 million articles in 134 IEEE and 24 IET journals, transactions, and magazines (including IEEE Spectrum Magazine, and Proceedings of the IEEE), more than 800 IEEE and 23 IET conference proceedings, and 1,800 current, active, and archived IEEE technical standards.

Simultaneous Users:

IPFW's license allows five simultaneous users. A session will time out after 15 minutes of inactivity. Users should log out before closing their web browser.
