Helmke Library offers several convenient (and very popular!) ITS Student-Access Computing Lab facilities throughout three floors of our four-storied library building. Can you find your computer?
As you enter the library, check out our TV monitor that keeps track of where computers are currently available in Helmke Library.
The largest computer lab is located on the first floor. ITS has recently updated it and increased the number of workstations.
Some of our computer labs are designed for groups of 2-4 people. You can find these on the second and fourth floors.
The computer lab just outside the library entrance is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All of our computer labs in the library are clustered together close to high-speed printers. And all ITS computing facilities require a valid network account (IPFW username and password).
The library also offers a limited number of public-access computers on the first floor.
Guests with laptop computers may register for an IPFW wireless network account, subject to IPFW's Network Monitoring and Access Guidelines that govern all campus computer users.
