Articles in Academic Search Premier

Academic Search Premier is a great starting point for locating periodical articles. This multidisciplinary online database is provided by Helmke Library and the State of Indiana's INSPIRE Indiana Virtual Library to help you search the indexing and abstracts of articles in nearly 8,000 periodicals (scholarly journals, popular magazines, and newspapers) and retrieve many articles in full text.

Full-Text Journals in E-journal Finder

When you are looking for a particular journal in an electronic format, E-journal Finder directs you to a database or publisher's Web site that provides access to that journal. Search IPFW's list of more than 20,000 full-text e-journals by words in the title of the journal itself, by ISSN, or browse a list of journals by broad subject category. Please note that E-Journal Finder cannot help you search the content of the articles within journals and periodicals.

Tip: To find articles in scholarly journals, popular magazines, newspapers, and other periodicals, choose an appropriate database from the Find Resources By... page. Within your search results, use the handy IU-Link tool to locate a copy of each article in one of three ways: (1) find it online in a full-text format, (2) use IUCAT catalog to find and make a photocopy from the print periodicals in the library, or (3) get it in about a week's time via IPFW's Document Delivery Services.

Document Delivery Services

Information on the Document Delivery Services is found on this page along with a direct link into the system which allows IPFW's faculty, students, and staff to place requests for books, articles, and other materials not owned by Helmke Library which are necessary to fill their research needs.
