It is the library's policy to purchase copies of all books and monographs published by the IPFW faculty. We depend on faculty members to notify us about their new publications. Many items are housed in the library's (non-circulating) special collections, and a second copy is available for checkout. All faculty books in the library are identified with a special sticker on the cover.
Holdings of faculty books and other materials can be located in the IUCAT library catalog or IPFW WorldCat. Many of these items are available for loan through the Indiana University Libraries system or from libraries worldwide.
Bibliographic records describing a wide selection of faculty publications are reflected in iBidX, the IPFW Faculty Scholarly Works Database. In the near future we anticipate replacing this work in progress by a full-featured IPFW institutional repository.
Meanwhile, kindly alert your Helmke Library liaison librarian so the library can continue to purchase faculty-authored books and monographs as we become aware of them.
